This server runs on my home PC and will sometimes be down due to other projects I sometimes am obliged to accomplish (burning CDs, etc.). If you find you cannot connect, please try again a few minutes later. Sorry in advance for any inconvenience. This server will be running for scheduled chats!

This chat server software is so far unregistered and will only accomodate 10 connections. Plans are in progress to register this software and implement a fully equipped, Jethro Tull-based chat network.

The advantages of TullNet over XNet/AfterNet/whatever else

And yes! There is a difference!

While our present channel on XNet or Afternet has been a relatively good friend in the past, we can still look at some major differences between XNet, Afternet and TullNet.

TullNet is more secure than XNet or AfterNet - TullNet runs on my home PC and only authorized chatters are able to log on.
Chanserv, Nickserv and Memoserv bots are built into the software - No way for the server bots to "go down". The bots have a full range of functions and will always be up and running!
Helpful and Friendly administrators - Ever try getting in touch with XNet's admins? AfterNet's? Pretty hard to do, and when you do finally contact them... Well, not very friendly are they? The admins here at TullNet are also participators in the Tull channels, so you can always find them! :)
Create your own registered channels on TullNet - Easier! Just email me with the info or create a channel using the JT-irc Script version 5.0 with the TullNet addon module.

Also, if anyone is interested in becoming a server in the TullNet network, go to the IRCXpro website and read up on using IRCX Pro, download the software and email me about hooking up. Preferrably non-United States.

News!

I'm currently working on a script to end all scripts. One that will be able to work with any of the networks involved - be it XNet, AfterNet or TullNet. This way you don't have to use different instances of mIRC or scripts. Keep checking back here or on the JT-irc site for more news.
